Our Association sponsors a Latin American Consumer Products Export Trade Group. Industry Trade groups have proven to be very effective for sound credit and financial management today. The basic purpose of the Latin American Consumer Products Export Group is to exchange information on the customers throughout Latin America and within the South Florida "305" and "954" area code, which would cover brokers and traders shipping to Latin America.

The benefits of joining the group include:

  • MONTHLY CREDIT REPORT BOOKLETS - Each company requests three customers for discussion at the meeting. A complete credit report is prepared for each request.
  • PAST DUE ACCOUNT BOOKLETS - Extracted from the group database contribution, prepared and distributed at the meetings for discussion
  • WEEKLY FLASH REPORTS - Members report pertinent information on accounts, collections, bankruptcies, NSF checks and possible fraud alerts. All Flash information is sent by fax to participating members weekly and becomes historical data on the customers credit report.
  • AUTOMATION & DIRECT LINE ACCESS OF CREDIT REPORTS - Members submit their monthly accounts receivable information to the Groups private database. Members have direct-line access to the database and may order Credit Reports with a telephone modem and an access code thereby saving time and money.
