The National Communications Credit Group was formed for companies which engage in the sale, installation, and/or maintenance of telecommunications (voice & data) systems to end-users. The group provides a timely means of exchanging credit information, monitoring accounts, and to minimize potential losses. Industry Trade Groups have proven to be very effective for sound credit and financial management. The benefits
of joining this group include: MEETINGS – Details are prepared by
NACM Tampa according to group specifications. This group meets three times
annually, offering members an opportunity to interact with other credit
executives in their industry, to share individual experience in credit
decisions and to discuss specific accounts. Guest speakers and educational
videos are also presented during the year. The meeting locations vary. Representatives must be a qualified credit
representative as well as having knowledge of their account receivable
base. All meeting are conducted in
full compliance with Anti-Trust Rulings. MONTHLY
PAST DUE BOOKLETS - Members
submit monthly account receivables to NACM and receive a booklet that lists
accounts (from all members of the group) that have account balances of $500
and are 60 days or more beyond terms.
The booklet can be downloaded directly through our website by group
members with confidential passwords. CREDIT
REPORT BOOKLETS – During the
months the group meets all members submits accounts they would like a credit
report on. The membership is sent a
consolidated list to obtain their credit history. NACM compiles and uploads the booklet to
our website (except for the months before a meeting). BI-MONTHLY
FLASH REPORTS - Members report
pertinent information the 10th & 25th of each month
on accounts, collections, bankruptcies, NSF checks, etc. This report is compiled and uploaded back
to participating members. It also becomes historical information on the customer’s
credit report. This report is compiled
& uploaded to members through our website. QUARTERLY
DSO REPORTS - Members submit
their quarterly DSO figure (using a formula provided by NACM) which is
compiled into a graphed report. The
results are shown in an anonymous manner.
ACCESS TO ONLINE CREDIT REPORTS – Credit reports on
specific customers developed from competitor’s accounts receivable
information or NACM updating trade references. The reports can be ordered
through our website with a secure password. |
